How do CCTV drain surveys work?
Having a CCTV survey can save you a significant amount of time and money as well as minimising disruption. Using state-of-the-art cameras we capture clear images inside the pipes to allow us to establish the cause of the problem; our equipment can be used in pipes as small as 50mm wide, so no matter what kind of trouble you are having, we will be to get to the bottom of the issue.
We will then provide you with the findings presented either on DVD or USB, along with our recommendations on the next steps in order to deal with the issue. This could include carrying out extensive repairs to the drain, which we can undertake.

CCTV Surveys Case Study
“We were recently called to a property where a drain had been blocked for sometime. A number of different companies had tried to jet the blockage unsuccessfully. The odd thing about this issue was that it was intermittent which is not consistent with a normal blockage. It was clearly a case for our CCTV equipment, we needed to see what the issue was rather than guess and cost the client pointless money as had happened before. What we found was an old football blocking the flow. The reason it was not blocked all the time was in some period of high flow the ball would float around and let some water through, then as the level fell it would be sucked over the hole and block the drain again. Just by using this equipment we were able to identify the issue and employ the right solution for a fast and effective result for the client. “
